Expo Xplorer 2020 App Registration and Experience prompt
At MAGNOPUS, I worked with product designers as a junior to help create 2 prototypes that showed how users can register in the app and what to choose for their interactive experience: VR, AR, or At home.

In-app Registration
We integrated the registration process into the Expo Xplorer app to solve the initial problem; that way, new prospective users don’t have to leave the app as soon as it starts. By maintaining the initial interaction it saved time for users to create their accounts, without having the need to send them out to a sign-up URL.
Experience Flow
Solution to Problem No. 2 To solve the second problem, we added a new interaction and Icon within the menu that sends users back to the prompt screen instead of them having to shut the app completely off.
Result
Since the implementation of the features - register from within the app and option to switch between experiences - we have been able to keep app interruptions at the onset to a minimum, keeping the users immersed within the World of Expo.
When signing up for a new account, new users don’t have to move away from the app but instead are welcome to register for one inside.
In addition, we were able to save the users’ time and keep them engrossed within the app by introducing a way for them to switch experiences without having to restart the app from the very beginning.
MAGNOPUS: Pitch Deck
My primary role at MAGNOPUS was to lead the efforts of creating a template for their pitch deck presentations. I worked closely with the CEO, Ben Grossman, and the business development head, Annie Hung, during this time to facilitate the direction of the new designs.
Slide Deck Design
During our talks, Ben Grossman (CEO) stressed the importance of invisibility and tangibility for the business itself. With that in mind, I contrasted the virtual world that MAGNOPUS specializes in by using colors that represent something ‘concrete’ ( a literal representation of something invisible and tangible in the real world).
Results
The newly created pitch decks captured the MAGNOPUS visual brand and decreased overall presentation-building time. There are 93 slides in total within this template, with 30 being the most used (through testing), with the other 63 kept in reserve for special use cases or if different slide variations are needed.
The resulting template decreased handoff time to the Business Development team. This also streamlined the pitch decks to match the Brand of MAGNOPUS as a whole. The slides were designed so that they are modular and can be adjusted quite a bit without a dedicated designer helping out.
